 | eCoach/Soccer is a Palm OS application designed to aid soccer coaches in managing, organizing and tracking progress of their teams and players. The user interface and program flow are very intuitive, requiring only a few taps to collect and display all the data about team and players.
eCoach/Soccer Main Features
Support for Multiple Teams -- Teams are identified by season, division, and a unique team number. This unique key allows the management of multiple teams during the same season.
Minimal Text Input -- By taking advantage of the PDA contact/address database, eCoach minimizes the amount of text that need to be entered on the PDA.
Memo Reports -- Memo reports can be generated and uploaded to the desktop for further processing.
Player "Play Time" Function -- Keeps accurate actual playtime for each player on the team.
Game Statistics -- At game time, eCoach provides a "just tap" easy method for collecting minute-by-minute data on players and game events (goals, shots, penalties, saves, subs).
Substitutions -- eCoach provides an easy interface for making and recording substitutions to the game lineup.
Consistent Interface -- Most eCoach screens have the same format, consisting of a list from which items can be selected from, and a pop up menu that is displayed when an item is selected. The common feature is that inputting text is almost unnecessary.
